Inspired by college logo sweatshirts using American university logos, this design features the "AGU" logo in the image color green on the Aoyama Gakuin University sweatshirt, the symbol "Hakumon" of Chuo University on the Chuo University sweatshirt, "Dr. Boissonade," who served as the headmaster of the Tokyo Law School, the predecessor of Hosei University, in 1883, on the Hosei University sweatshirt, and the logo of the initials "Rikkyo University" on the Rikkyo University sweatshirt. The body uses "Russell Athletic," a brand that produces many American college logo sweatshirts. This is the first time for any of the universities to sell official items using logos designed by apparel companies.
